Bulk Diesel Exhaust Fluid Tanks
Problem
Connecting large poly tanks to a central loading/unloading system traditionally involves introducing side wall weakening lateral torque around tank fittings. The tank wall adjacent to these fittings often cracks over time, and the result can be catastrophic.
Summary
An oil jobber customer wanted to participate in the burgeoning DEF market, but was reluctant to install bulk poly tanks because of past spillage incidents resulting from bulk poly tanks failing at side wall fittings. STI designed a 3″ stainless plumbing system that incorporates Flex Master flexible connectors to attach tank fittings to hard pipe. The torque associated with such systems has been eliminated.
