Problem

A tank manufacturer desired a method to dispense precise amounts of its very expensive leak detector solution, with the ability to change the amount to be dispensed, based on the project.

Summary

The tank company tests every tank with air pressure and an expensive leak detector solution that is applied to the seams of the tank. To control costs, and account for usage, a pre-set, repeatable dispense system was desired, but nothing was commercially available.

Solution

STI developed a system with a number of available components, that provided push button repeatable dispense of precise amounts, with the ability to change the “recipe” based on the size and scope of the project.
